    The Mainframe Breakfast Network (MBN) - An informal association of mainframers run by Arcati Research, with monthly newsletter and breakfast sessions in London or Oxford, England. Membership is free.

    The Mainframe Charter - First announced in mid-2003, IBM initiative to make the mainframe more competitive, most notably in hardware and software pricing. But also by increasing the number of young people with mainframe skills.

    T-Rex - IBM eServer zSeries 990 Mainframe Computer - IBM laid claim to the T-Rex containing the densest electronics in the world: 3.2 billion transistors in 16 chips on 101 layers of ceramic glass connected to 5000 pins by 500 meters of wire, all in a 3.7" x 3.7" x 0.75" module.

    Canada's First T-Rex in 65 Million Years - Workers Compensation Board - Alberta is the first Canadian company to install an IBM eserver zSeries 990 mainframe computer, code-named T-Rex.
