Theatre BC - Juried New Play contest for Canadian professional and non-professional playwrights. Annual contest. VSA Art Playwright Discovery Award - Individuals with disabilities are invited to submit an original one-act script that documents the experience of living with a disability. ShowOff! - The Camino Real Playhouse hosts this annual ten-minute playwriting festival. Playwrights world-wide submit their works and seven winners are given full production and three honorable mention winners are given staged readings during the nine performances in October. Deadline is June 15th. Speaking Ring Theatre - Submit an original 10-30 minute play. Looking for plays that challenge perceptions of relationships.
