Electronic Text Center - University of Virginia's online archive of SGML-encoded texts and images. Includes over 45,000 humanities texts in 12 languages. Humanities Text Initiative - University of Michigan's online humanities text archives. Cornell Electronic Text Center - Not an online text archive but more an informational resource on the subject of electronic texts; includes information on and links to electronic texts, including various online archives both large and small, more general and more specific. VIVA - The Virtual Library of Virginia Digital Library Project - A University of Pennsylvania selection of digital library collections, exhibits, and finding aids prepared by digital librarians. Includes a section on obscure texts by women writers. American Sunday School Books Digitization Project - Michigan State University Libraries Digital Sources Center and the Central Michigan University Libraries proposal to digitize 121 American Sunday School books. Corpus of Middle English Prose and Verse Bibliography - An extensive archive of Middle-English electronic texts (none of which are translated into modern English, however), including works by Chaucer and the ubiquitous Anonymous. University of Maryland Reading Room - Includes an archive of electronic texts available online. Fiction, drama, poetry, and non-fiction. University of Washington Library - Electronic Texts & Documents - Amazing depth of historical subjects available New Zealand Electronic Text Centre (NZETC) - Hosted by Victoria University of Wellington. Schoenberg Centre for Electronic Text and Image - At the University of Pennsylvania Library includes a database of scanned texts from the Furness Shakespeare Library. Sophie: A Digital Library of Early Women's Literature - Covers German-language women's writing 1740-1923 and English translations.
